When it comes to planning your wedding there is so much to consider, not least the suppliers you choose to provide the services that turn your day from good to ‘WOW’ yet it is so difficult to know who you can trust and to know you are getting good value for money. The wedding market is like no other with so many ‘businesses’ running without premises and in many instances without following appropriate legislation. We started Frily’s Boutique with one goal in mind – to be a trusted, nationwide one stop wedding shop providing exceptional quality with fantastic value for money, but most importantly providing confidence to brides to know that they truly have a wedding specialist supplying all aspects of their day so they can rest easy and focus on enjoying their day.

We are a limited company, VAT registered with a business address on public record, and hold a 5 star food hygiene rating. All our electrical equipment is PAT tested and we hold full public liability and professional indemnity insurance – everything you would expect from a responsible company. Details of these can be viewed in your My Account area.

We have invested in infrastructure and technology to bring expected capabilities in any other sector to the wedding market – view availability in the comfort of your own home online, pay your deposit and then manage your booking including making payments off your balance in your My Account area – no contact forms or uncomfortable ‘sales led’ consultations requiring lots of information from you just to check if your date is free.

We are working hard behind the scenes to bring even more choice for our brides, and easier ways to communicate and manage your bookings whilst expanding our team and delivery radius to achieve our goal of a nationwide one stop wedding shop.

Comparing Wedding Vendors

Your wedding day is one of the biggest days of your life and you want to remember it for all the right reasons. It’s important you trust any companies that are supplying services for your wedding so we have set out some of the pointers you should consider when choosing a supplier….

Social proof

Social media is one of the strongest indicators of any company, not just wedding vendors. It's a good idea to check out any suppliers social media profiles, an established company will have a large follower count and regular, original content over a prolonged period of time. It's also good to look at the comments on posts and see what others are saying, along with getting an idea for how professionally the supplier responds to comments. Lastly check out their 'typically responds in' time on messenger to see how prompt they normally deal with enquiries. This should really help build a picture of your prospective supplier.

Web presence

Whereas it is not essential to have a website, an established wedding vendor will have one. This shows a level of infrastructure and investment reassuring you it is a genuine business. Check out the content on any prospective suppliers website, an established vendor will use their website to showcase themselves, have original content and help you determine authenticity.


Contact details can tell you a lot about a prospective supplier. A landline phone number and a trading address show transparency, infrastructure and authenticity and should reassure you that they won't disappear. A company email address with a company domain instead of a free email provider also shows that a vendor has invested in their business and is therefore invested in providing good service.

Business status

It is not essential for a supplier to be a Ltd company or registered for VAT but they are good indicators that your prospective suppliers are full time wedding companies giving you reassurance that they have the expertise and resources to fulfil your booking regardless of everyday issues. If you are choosing a supplier for a wedding cake or catering they have to be registered with their local council and have a food hygiene rating. You can search to find food hygiene ratings at

Payment Methods

A reputable company will have safe payment methods in place allowing you to pay by debit or credit card and supply invoices or reciepts. Always beware of a company that asks you to pay cash, bank transfer or PayPal friends and family - these methods of payment offer you no protection whatsoever,
